the barbell collective
Our approach
At The Barbell Collective, our goal is to provide drug and alcohol addiction treatment to individuals through a holistic blend of fitness, yoga, and group counseling. We strive to create an inclusive environment where people of all ages can build resilience, enhance their well-being, and experience personal growth—whether through our youth programs or our addiction recovery initiatives.
Our approach emphasizes the connection between body and mind, using the transformative benefits of exercise, yoga, and group wellness coaching to cultivate both physical and emotional strength. We believe in guiding each person’s journey with compassion, expertise, and a focus on building a supportive community. At The Barbell Collective, we go beyond the standard approach, offering an evidence based comprehensive path to healing and growth for everyone we serve.
How We Can Help
-
Core 24 Program for teens
Designed for youth ages 13-17, Core 24 helps teens build resilience, develop life skills, and foster a sense of community. It’s open to all teens and provides an encouraging environment for personal growth through fitness and holistic wellness. The program blends psychoeducation with engaging activities like exercise and yoga, addressing the 8 domains of wellness: emotional, physical, occupational, social, spiritual, intellectual, environmental, and financial.
-
Outpatient Program for Adults
The Adult Outpatient Program at the Barbell Collective facility caters to adults who are transitioning from intensive substance use disorder treatments. The program supports individuals in recovery by combining fitness, mindfulness, and wellness education. This holistic approach helps participants rebuild their strength and well-being, providing the tools to succeed in their recovery journey and beyond.
What Makes Us Different
The Barbell Collective offers a unique approach that integrates exercise, yoga, and wellness coaching into a well-rounded, holistic experience. Our certified instructors bring years of expertise, ensuring top-quality guidance in every session. Unlike traditional programs, we create a welcoming community-focused environment, where participants feel supported and connected rather than just part of a treatment center. Here, you're joining a community that fosters strength, growth, and lasting well-being.
-
Build Physical strength
Our fitness and strength training sessions, led by a certified CrossFit Instructor and Peer Run Coach, are designed to build physical and mental resilience. Each class focuses on one of the 8 domains of wellness, offering a tailored experience for all fitness levels. Emphasizing community, healthy competition, and personal growth, our coaches modify workouts to meet individual needs, ensuring everyone has a supportive yet challenging experience.
-
Cultivate mindfulness
Our yoga and mindfulness sessions, led by a Certified Yoga Alliance RYT500 Instructor, offer a nurturing environment where participants can cultivate strength, flexibility, and inner peace. Designed for all levels, these sessions focus on connecting mind and body through mindful movement and breathwork. With a calming atmosphere, the practice helps reduce stress, promote mental clarity, and support overall well-being.
-
Connect through group support
Our group discussion and therapy sessions create a strong sense of community, offering participants a space to connect, share experiences, and support one another. Facilitated by trained professionals, these sessions foster emotional resilience and personal growth in a safe and collaborative environment. By coming together, participants build meaningful connections and a shared sense of purpose, reinforcing the power of community on their journey to wellness.
