CLINICAL DIRECTOR
Joseph Ombrello, LSAC
Joe Ombrello is a clinical therapist who has been providing therapy for approximately 15 years and specializes in treating trauma, addiction, and co-occurring disorders. He strives to assist individuals in finding balance and alignment in the eight domains of wellness. He utilizes an eclectic approach that incorporates dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), multichannel eye-movement desensitization (MEMI), somatic experiencing (SE), and emotional freedom technique (EFT) to help clients find peace and a sense of purpose. He helps individuals better understand their personal philosophy, which is influenced by their unique values, beliefs, and goals. He served in the U.S. Army in combat arms as a platoon leader, scout platoon leader, executive officer, team leader, and company commander. He has also served as a law enforcement officer who worked in patrol and street crimes and was a member of the special response team (SRT). He is a certified clinical trauma specialist for individuals (CCTS-I) through the Arizona Trauma Institute.

Eric Hagg
Born and raised right here in the great hot state of Arizona, Eric started his coaching career in 2014. Eric states, “I coach because I love movement, all kinds of movement, and I can’t stop moving. I coach because I love helping people learn the right movements. I coach because I love to connect with people. I hope I learn from them, and they will learn from me.” He enjoys coaching for The Barbell Saves Project to help people connect the mind and body together with the community to bring forth healing from addiction. Eric believes movement is the medicine we all need in life. Away from the gym, He loves to hang out with his four children and help them explore, navigate, and learn in this big world. Eric enjoys mountain biking, playing pickleball, and other outdoor activities in his free time away from kids.

Sidney Carthell
Sidney Carthell II is a seasoned yoga instructor, martial artist, personal trainer, and Learning Coach (for children with Autism) known for his expertise and versatility in various disciplines. As a certified Yoga Alliance RYT500 and ERYT200 instructor, Sidney's dedication to yoga and fitness extends to specialized areas such as Aerial Yoga, Wall Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Wheel, Meditation and Breath Work, Hot HIIT, Pilates, and Group Fitness.
With a Black Belt in Nikidokai MMA and extensive experience as a personal trainer accredited by NASM, Sidney brings a unique blend of strength, agility, and mindfulness to his teachings. His NASM specializations in Weight Loss, MMA Conditioning, and Nutrition Coaching underscore his commitment to holistic wellness, empowering individuals to achieve their fitness goals and lead healthier lifestyles.
Beyond the physical aspects of fitness, Sidney's passion lies in creating a nurturing environment where students can cultivate strength, flexibility, and inner peace. Sidney's approach to teaching is marked by empathy, patience, power, and a genuine desire to uplift others. His goal is to foster physical vitality and serve as a beacon of positivity and tranquility, a guide on the path to wellness for all who join in his journey.
DIRECTOR OF YOGA
Nicole Warren
Nicole Warren has been practicing yoga for 16 years. She is 500 YTT certified and teaches Bikram yoga, Pilates, HIIT, Barre, meditation, breathwork, power & vinyasa yoga, restorative yoga, and sound vibrational therapy through drumming. Yoga and the healing work she has been dedicated to have been instrumental in her recovery journey and alignment with her soul’s purpose. She left her career in the corporate industry to follow her passion for teaching full-time in February 2020. She has dedicated her teaching career to helping serve others and has donated her time to give back to multiple communities. Her passion for helping others has led her to step into a role at The Barbell Saves Project and launch The Yoga Saves Project. This (501c3) provides yoga & breathwork to people in drug & alcohol recovery. Additionally, she is leading somatic breathwork and yoga to people in a gambling addiction treatment center. Her philanthropy extends to many communities around her, and she believes in helping others through breath and connecting the mind and body. Changing lives one breath at a time
